Top-Rated

This is a skills course rather than exam preparation: you are given a situation and asked to choose the right design, not to recall a service name. This programme is built around our published course modules and the kind of failures that actually show up in production. It reaches Guwahati learners as live online sessions. The city has an IT market, though we have not verified which employers here run production systems.

This comprehensive program follows the official course modules and focuses on hands-on practice. You’ll learn to operate and secure production-grade clusters and be guided through mock exams and time-management strategies for the live course.

Cloud Administration Course
Course Overview

The curriculum follows the our published course modules and weights them the way the exam does — troubleshooting carries the most marks, so it gets the most lab time. You build environments, break things deliberately, and fix what you did not build.

The course includes hands-on labs, project-based learning, and mock exams so you enter the Cloud Administration test confident and prepared.

Prerequisites for Cloud Administration Training
  • Basic knowledge of Linux commands and system administration.
  • Familiarity with containers (Docker or Podman) and their usage.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals such as IPs, DNS, and firewalls.
  • Prior exposure to cloud platforms (Cloud Administration, Azure, or GCP) is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Bash or Python) is an added advantage.
  • No prior Cloud Administration experience required — fundamentals are covered in the training.
What You'll Learn
  • Designing and operating Cloud Administration clusters.
  • Working through every module of the published syllabus with hands-on labs.
  • Designing VPCs with public and private subnets, NAT and security groups.
  • Building real environments from a written requirement, not from a slide.
  • Applying least-privilege access and sensible security defaults.
  • Monitoring, logging and structured troubleshooting.
Cloud Administration Course Syllabus

The curriculum covers all essential course modules with practical labs and exam-focused mock tests.

  • IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, and what each one stops being your problem
  • The shared responsibility model, and the assumptions that cause breaches
  • Public, private and hybrid — honest trade-offs rather than sales lines

  • Organising accounts, subscriptions and projects before the sprawl starts
  • Tagging standards, and enforcing them instead of asking nicely
  • Policy guardrails that block a mistake at creation time

  • Users, groups, roles and the principle of least privilege in practice
  • Service identities instead of shared credentials and downloaded keys
  • Multi-factor authentication and conditional access

  • Provisioning, resizing and decommissioning virtual machines
  • Images, snapshots and building a repeatable server build
  • Autoscaling: what it fixes, what it costs, and when it misleads you

  • Object, block and file storage, and choosing by access pattern
  • Storage tiers and lifecycle rules that actually reduce a bill
  • Redundancy options, and matching them to a stated recovery requirement

  • Virtual networks, subnets, routing and network security rules
  • Load balancers, public endpoints and keeping services off the open internet
  • Connecting to on-premises with VPN, and when that is the wrong answer

  • Metrics, logs and traces, and which question each one answers
  • Alerts that page a human only when a human is needed
  • Reading an incident backwards from the logs you actually kept

  • Backup policies, retention and testing a restore rather than assuming it
  • RPO and RTO stated as numbers, not adjectives
  • Comparing backup-and-restore, pilot light and warm standby by real cost

  • Reading a bill and finding the three resources driving it
  • Reservations, committed use and spot capacity — and their risks
  • Right-sizing with evidence instead of guesswork

  • Doing it twice by hand, then never a third time: scripting the repeatable
  • Infrastructure as code at an administrator's level, not an engineer's
  • Where Terraform and Ansible fit into a cloud admin's week
What This Cloud Administration Course Is — and What It Is Not
No exam, and we are not going to pretend otherwise

This is a skills course, not certification preparation. There is no vendor exam attached to it, no passing score, and no industry body that issues a credential for “cloud administration” as such. What you get from us at the end is a course completion certificate — a record of attendance and work done. It is not a vendor certification, and we will not describe it as one.

We say this plainly because cloud administration is genuinely not one vendor’s exam. It is a job, and it looks slightly different on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud while the underlying decisions stay the same: who gets access, what runs where, what it costs, what happens when it fails. This course teaches those decisions and shows you how each of the three major providers expresses them.

Delivery: live online sessions across India, with classroom sessions at our Kharadi campus in Pune.

Where This Course Leads
If your employer runs… Then the honest next step is
Microsoft Azure AZ-104, Microsoft Azure Administrator. A 100-minute written exam, renewable free every 12 months on Microsoft Learn. See our Azure programme.
Amazon Web Services AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, or Solutions Architect – Associate if you lean towards design rather than operations. Valid 3 years.
Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer. A 2-hour exam, valid 3 years, no prerequisite.
A mix, or you do not know yet Finish this course first. Picking a certification before you know which platform you will actually be paid to run is how people end up with a credential they never use.

Every figure in that table comes from the vendor’s own certification pages, checked on 30 August 2026. We run separate programmes for each of those exams — this course is the operational grounding underneath them.

How the Course Is Taught
  • Real accounts, not a simulator: you work in live cloud subscriptions, so you meet real quotas, real permission propagation delays and real billing behaviour.
  • Cost treated as a first-class skill: most cloud courses mention cost at the end. An administrator is judged on it monthly, so it runs through the whole programme.
  • Restores tested, not assumed: you will restore from a backup you took, because a backup nobody has restored is a hypothesis, not a safeguard.
  • Platform-neutral decisions, platform-specific practice: the reasoning is taught once; you then implement it on the provider your employer actually uses.
  • Honest scoping: if you have never administered a server, we will tell you to start there instead. If you already run production cloud day to day, we will point you at a certification track rather than sell you this.
  • Full syllabus published up front: every module is listed on this page before you enrol.
A Note on Sources

Because there is no vendor exam behind this course, there is no external syllabus for us to cite — the syllabus above is ours. Where we mention a vendor certification, the details come from that vendor’s own page: Microsoft AZ-104, AWS Certification and Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer. We last checked these on 30 August 2026. Vendors change exams and fees without notice — theirs is the correct source, and we would be glad to be told if you spot a difference.

Cloud Administration Work You Do in This Programme
Why the job is mostly judgement

Provisioning a virtual machine takes four clicks and can be learned in an afternoon. What takes time to learn is everything around it: whether it should exist, who should be able to reach it, what it will cost by the end of the quarter, and what happens to it when the region has a bad day. Those are judgement calls, and judgement comes from having got a few of them wrong somewhere it did not matter.

So the labs below are built around decisions with consequences. Each one ends with a written justification: what you chose, what you rejected, and what you accepted as the cost. Sessions run live online across India, and the same labs run in the classroom at our Kharadi campus in Pune.

Project List
  • Account and subscription structure: organise a cloud estate for a company with two business units and a compliance requirement, then apply a tagging standard and a policy that blocks non-compliant resources at creation rather than flagging them later.
  • Least privilege in practice: grant three roles the access they genuinely need, then audit what they can actually reach. Almost every first attempt over-grants somewhere, and finding out where is the lesson.
  • Kill the shared credentials: replace a downloaded key with a managed service identity, and confirm nothing broke.
  • Build a repeatable server image: take a hand-built machine, capture it as an image, and deploy three more from it — then find what you forgot to include.
  • Autoscaling under load: configure scaling rules, generate real load, and measure what happens to response times during a scale event. It is rarely as smooth as the diagram.
  • Storage decisions with numbers: place the same dataset on three storage tiers, apply lifecycle rules, and calculate the annual difference. Then defend the choice against a stated recovery requirement.
  • A network that does not leak: build subnets, security rules and a load balancer so that only what should be public is public — then scan it from outside and prove it.
  • Monitoring worth waking up for: set alerts that fire on symptoms users notice rather than on every metric spike, and tune out the first round of false alarms.
  • Restore, do not assume: take a backup, delete the original, and restore it. Record how long it actually took, and compare that to the recovery target you were given.
  • Disaster recovery costed honestly: plan the same workload as backup-and-restore, pilot light and warm standby, and put a real monthly cost and a real recovery time against each.
  • Cut a bill with evidence: open cost reporting on an environment you built, find the three resources driving it, and propose changes with the saving quantified before you touch anything.
  • Automate the repeatable: take a task you have now done by hand four times and script it, then decide honestly whether it was worth automating.

A note on college projects: if your college or university has a fixed project specification, share it with us and we will map the lab work to it where the syllabus allows. If a requirement falls outside what this course covers, we will say so rather than promise to cover it.

Why Choose Our Cloud Administration Training in Guwahati?
Your Path to Cloud-Native Success

Guwahati has an established IT market, though we have not verified a named IT cluster here. That shapes the honest advice for a learner here: build a skill that travels — to remote roles, to a larger employer, or to a relocation — rather than one that depends on Guwahati’s own market.

Why Us?
  • Experienced, certified instructors.
  • Real labs replicating production scenarios.
  • Mock tests and exam strategy sessions.
  • Placement support with interview coaching.

There is no vendor exam behind this course, so there is no official external syllabus — the syllabus is ours and it is published in full on this page. Where a topic maps onto a vendor certification we say which one and link to that vendor's own page, so you can judge the overlap for yourself. We last checked the vendor details referenced in this course on 30 August 2026.

No, and that is deliberate. Cloud administration is not one vendor's exam — it is a job that looks slightly different on Azure, Cloud Administration and Google Cloud. This course teaches the job. There is no exam attached and no vendor issues a certificate for it; what you get from us is a course completion certificate, which is not the same thing. If you want a vendor credential afterwards, the natural next steps are Microsoft AZ-104, Cloud Administration SysOps Administrator or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer, and we run separate programmes for those.

For this exam, live online is arguably the better fit, and the reason is the exam format. This course has no exam attached to it: you solve tasks from a command line in a browser terminal on your own machine. Training in exactly that setup means exam day is not the first time you work that way. The labs are cloud-hosted, so a classroom seat would give you the same browser terminal anyway — there is no lab hardware you would be missing out on.

Our only classroom is in Kharadi, Pune. Rather than claim a Guwahati centre we do not have, we deliver the same course live online to learners here. Sessions are two-way: you speak, share your screen and get your cluster debugged in real time, and you also get a chat channel to ask questions without interrupting the class.

Three things that matter for this exam specifically. Every session is recorded and stays available for a year, so you can replay a troubleshooting demo the night before the exam — a classroom session is gone once it ends. You read the trainer’s terminal on your own screen at your own font size instead of squinting at a projector, which matters when the work is all command line. And the hours you would have spent commuting go into lab time, which is what actually moves your course outcome.

A laptop or desktop, a stable internet connection of around 5 Mbps, and a headset. The labs run in your browser, so you do not need a powerful machine — no local cloud environment and no 16 GB RAM requirement.

We recommend the weekend batch for Guwahati learners. Weekend suits students/working professionals; weekday is preferable for learners seeking faster continuity. Final choice should follow current batch calendar.

System administrators and support engineers whose infrastructure has moved to the cloud and who are now expected to run it; people who have passed a fundamentals exam and found it did not prepare them for the actual work; and anyone planning AZ-104, Cloud Administration SysOps or Google Cloud ACE who wants the operational grounding first.

If you have never administered a server or a network, start there — cloud administration assumes those basics. If you already run production cloud environments day to day, go straight to a certification track. And if you want a vendor certificate at the end of this course, it does not produce one.

Run a cloud environment day to day: organise accounts and enforce tagging and policy, grant access on least privilege, provision and right-size compute, choose and tier storage against a real requirement, build a virtual network that does not expose services by accident, set up monitoring and alerts worth waking up for, test a restore rather than trust a backup, and cut a bill with evidence.

You should understand what a server, a network and a database are, and be comfortable at a command line. Prior cloud experience is not assumed. We start from the service models and build up.

What we can state about Guwahati: Guwahati’s economy runs on IT/ITES, logistics, education, public-sector technology and emerging startups; the city has an established IT market; we deliver this course to Guwahati live online, and our only classroom is in Kharadi, Pune. What we cannot: how many cloud administration roles are open in Guwahati right now; which employers in Guwahati run production systems; what a engineer is paid specifically in Guwahati; how many of our past learners came from Guwahati. We leave those blank rather than publishing a number we have not checked.

cloud administration roles reachable from Guwahati are in the local market and in remote-first teams. We list this for orientation only — we do not claim hiring relationships with any employer.
